These sensory inputs coming from the environment need proper processing , organization and interpretation to leads to desirable function, learning and execution of appropriate behavior. This process is called sensory integration.
Lack of sensory integration leads to inappropriate respsonse to the stimuli and the environment leading to behavior issues and causes delay in learning and motor planning.
With sensory integration therapy, we aim at providing means for the child to understand, adjust and interpret the sensory inputs to help the child function appropriately in any environment
